Greetings in the name of our Lord,
We, at St. Augustine's, are very proud of our church and the worship, outreach, spiritual formation and fellowship opportunities that God has blessed us with. We are blessed with an ideal location, adjacent to the Memorial University, in the midst of both an established neighbourhood and major new subdivisions on Kenmount Road and Thorburn Road. We are very close to both the major hospital of the province as well as the House of Assembly. Our ministry and worship reflects the needs of the neighbourhood as well as the needs of the milieu that we are situated in.
Our Church is a very modern building (built in 1968), built in the shape of an ark and reflects the vision its founders had for the ministry of our church – to be a source of hope to all around us. Our congregation numbers around 320 families, from infants to members in their nineties and is active in many aspects of congregational and diocesan life.
Our church offers many programs and fellowship opportunities for people of all ages. From our choir and band, our men’s, ladies, and youth organizations, to our Bible Study and Spiritual Development Courses, to an active outreach program to our neighbourhood and to the University Community, we seek to fulfill our mission at being the Body of Christ, active in His World.
Please, do come and join us for worship, and sense God's presence in our worship, partake in our fellowship and join us in our ministry in this part of God's Vineyard.
