Men's Service Club
The Men's Service Club (MSC) is a group of Parish Men who gather on the second Tuesday of the month. Aside from enjoying great fellowship, we also have an active ministry both around the church and in our neighbourhood.
Some of the ministries we undertake are:
Being the sponsor of our CLB (providing assistance in their suppers, fundraisers and various events that they plan
Assisting with the decoration of the Church at Thanksgiving and then distributing all the produce to the needy of our neighbourhood the next day.
Assembling and distributing food hampers every Christmas
Sponsoring Communion Breakfast, where we invite people of interest to share with us their journey in faith and a reflection on what they do in life. We have recently hosted breakfasts with Hans Rollman (Professor at Memorial), Cy Pitman (Bishop of Diocese), Axel Meisen (President of the University)
Hosting times of fellowship for the men of the congregation, including barbeques and pot luck meals
Hosting services for the other Men's Groups in our area.
This year, on November 19th, we are having our next Communion Breakfast. This years guest is Dr. Lloyd Brown.
